Balance: Asymmetrical vs Symmertrical

Symmetrical balance is when things are completely even and equal on both sides. If the picture was split in half, both halves would look the exact same. Asymmetrical balance is where there is a balance between objects in the picture, but they are different objects creating the balance. I think visual balance is important because it gives much more depth to the picture.
